Access, Visio & Autocad
Hi,
I have a database/Spreadsheet currently on Excel but am seriously thinking of changing to access. This spreadsheet tracks personnel locations (seat number). Currently i use this Excel SS and Autocad drawings (visual) to track locations. The draw back being that when someone moves it must be updated on SS and autocad separately. Making it very hard to keep both sets of data up to date! Does anyone know of a way using any Office programs, to link database and visual drawings, so that data only has to be entered once? I have heard that Visio works with autocad, as well as Access. Any tips or suggestions will be most appreciated. Thanks Tommy |
