Default Which Visio version to use with Office 2013

I have installed office 2013 on a computer with windows 11. Do I have to use the same Visio version, i.e. Visio 2013, or can I also use newer versions?

The versions are not integrated in any way. You can use any version of Visio you like. If you are creating graphics in Visio to import into MS Office applications, you should be exporting the Visio graphic in a suitable format (eg PNG or EMF) and importing it as a graphic.
