Import without creating new shape data
I am trying to use an Excel sheet for Shape Data. But when I import this into Visio it will create new shape data.
Is there a way where It will only update/overwrite only existing shape data and not create new? I have attached an image where you can see that new data is created with "_VisDM xxx" and "VisDM xxxx". The "Row_xx" is the once that are to be kept. Right now. I have on the refresh data unchecked the "Overwrite user changes to shape data" So i can manually drag new information into shapes and then go into the Define Shape Data and remove all the new fields that the import creates. But is there a way to not have this happen? Thanks.
