How Do I Create Diagonal Connectors?
I am using MS Visio LTSC Professional 2021 on WIndows 11. I need to create a diagonal connector in a flow chart to link an object in the SoutEast Corner of my drawing positioned at ~ 140 degrees to an object in the NorthWest portion of my diagram at ~320 Degrees. Thus, I need a diagonal connector that originates at 140 degrees and moves several inches to terminate at 320 degrees. Visio seems to insist that all connectors muct have right angles, I do not want this it will interfere with my objects. I have tried the size and position pane but when I specify 45 degree angle of rotation on a connector it breaks into two 90 degree angle object rather than rotating the straight line connector. How do I make, or at least simulate, a diagonal connector? Any help is most appreciated. Thanks! |

Which connector are you using? If you have used a 'Dynamic Connector' then you should be able to right click on it and choose to make it a Straight Connector
If you want a curved connector then you can choose to use a 'Line-Curve Connector'

That worked! Once I made it straight I could rotate it to the degree I needed via size and position. Thanks!
