[Visio 2007] How to disable predefined data types?
I'm doing UML class diagram in Visio 2007. My automatically created root UML system has several predefined data types, such as C# Data Types, C++ Data Types, etc. I'm modeling C++ program so I need no C# data types. However, every time I'm to select type of some parameter I have a long list of predefined C# types and only after those I can see C++ types, which I'm only interested in.
So is there a way to disable annoying C# data types in this list? I cannot delete it or rename it or even adjust any property. Thanks for your help. |

I'm working with Visio 2003, so I'm not positive if the menus have changed. All the other menus that I've seen are the same between the versions, though.
I can disable the pre-defined UML data types by opening the UML menu, clicking on Options, clicking the UML Document tab, and unchecking the data types I don't want. Once unchecked, they no longer show in object properties. See if this works for you. -SW |
