Printing Visio process map to a plotter - long image
I drew a long flowchart in Visio and I'm trying to print to a Canon plotter. When I print the flowchart, it seems to be restricting the size of the flowchart to about 40 inches long (horizontal) on paper that is 36 inches wide (vertical) but it only uses the bottom half of the paper.
Instead of the image size that I want (24" to 30" high and as long as the paper needs to be) what I'm getting is a 12" high image that's about 40" long. I've tried to change the page setup, paper settings etc. but no matter how I set it up, it always prints out tiwh the image forced to the lower part of the paper. Any ideas? image example attached |

We don't have access to your printer driver settings so can't advise directly. I will say that it can be tricky dealing with multiple variables within Visio AND the printer driver to get the output you want.
I recommend you print the file to an Acrobat file (PDF) which will fix the output to a single page. Then you can open the PDF and print that file to your plotter. This will make the scaling a bit easier as you are removing some of the complexity and reducing the variables you can tweak as you print.
