Define shape data property name field missing 2016 vs 2013
Hi all, I was using the shape data name to retrieve using VBA each property by name but it seems that they removed the Name property field or there is a bug and I don't know how to get property that I need even the code is working as it was before with the names set in Visio 2013 and the labels are different than names. I'm back with the solution to solve my issue.
So, the problem was because I was not seeing the Name and other fields inside Define Shape data window but this are like "developer" details so to be able to see them you need to activate the developer mode on Visio: To run Visio in developer mode: 1. Click the File tab and then click Options. 2. In the Visio Options dialog box, click Advanced, and then, under General, select Run in developer mode.
