Hello,
Sorry if this has been answered already as I searched and couldn't find it. I have used the visio visualizer add in with excel. The org chart creates some dummy data and I have pasted over the top with my data and I have added a few more columns. When I then edit the visio file using the desktop app, I can't work out how to add in those extra columns into the shape so they display just as a text value. Any ideas? Thanks Ross |

I don't have the Visualizer loaded so I would need to see example output to determine what is possible. Is the extra data already in the Visio shape's shape data? If so, you can add a field to the text in the shape so it shows that metadata.
If the columns of extra data have not been transferred into the drawing from Excel by the Visualizer then you might need to use your own code in Excel to write the full dataset to the Visio shapes. If you post your Visio output and/or your Excel table I can provide more details on what your options might be.
