Perhaps you could try posting your file so someone here could examine it. I haven't had Visio files become corrupt before so its not a problem I have seen before.

If this has happened to you more than once then it could be an issue with the media you are saving your file to. Are you saving to a USB drive? Have you scanned your drive recently?
