Organisation Diagram Wizard
Hi
I am trying to use the organisation chart wizard in Visio in "2013" and all of the templates seem to force you to include profile picture placeholders, rather than the simpler versions from previous versions. I cannot see any easy way to remove the picture placeholders. I tried selecting all, right clicking and selecting Hide or Delete and it just leaves a block where the picture used to be. Surely the must be a simple way to create an organisation chart that is sleek, compact and doesn't force you to use pictures? Thanks |

If you have already got the shapes on the page, you should see a Org Chart ribbon tab. On that tab is a group titled Picture and it has a Show/Hide button which turns off the picture placeholder and adapts the text to fit the available space.
If you haven't yet started adding the shapes on the page, you can make a change on the Document ShapeSheet to hide the image placeholder on the shapes. This is the User.DocShowPicture cell which you should change to have a value of 0 instead of 1.
