Default How can you change the font showing the times on a Visio timeline to be larger?

I am trying to change the font displaying the hourly times on a Visio timeline to be a larger font. Any help on how this can be done would be appreciated. Thank you

I don't know what you are looking at changing. Perhaps you need to attach a document which contains a sample timeline.

Are you saying that selecting the content and changing the font size is NOT working? Is the shape's properties protected?

Default Increase Font Size on Timeline

Yes the shape properties are protected I cannot edit the font. The attachment shows in the red box what I am trying to edit. I just want to increase the font of the hourly times to be more readable.

Thanks

OK, on my machine this isn't locked by default but it should be relatively easy to unlock.

Click on the parent shape, by clicking once on one of the text numbers (the selection handles should show the bar being selected). Then open the shapesheet and find the Protection Section. Change the value in LockFormat to 0 instead of 1.

Then change the font size - it should be unlocked now.

Thanks. I had checked that and the LockFormat is 0. I have even tried to change the point size on the Character setting in the shapesheet. That does not work either. Will keep exploring options.

If you can post a file I can look at it to work out where the protection is coming from. It is a compound shape so you've got to work out what level the protection is coming from (parent shape, sub-shape or maybe even a sub-sub-shape).

The shape's text probably has a style associated with it so you could try changing that style's text attributes.
