Visio 365 Online where are the autosave or recovery files located or doe the feature even work?
Today, after a lot of work the Visio 365 Online version software crashed and did not recover losing all of my work. I have had the software crash before and it has always recovered with most of the recent changes in tact. After an hour with Microsoft tech support there was no discovery of a recovery file nor a location where a recovery or autosave file might be located.
I started a new session and changed the autosave to 5 minutes. files are stored on a Sharepoint site. After working for a period of 10 minutes or so I went to the Sharepoint file online and checked the version history and there was no new version saved after 5 minutes. Online searches do not indicate where this version of Visio saves the autosave or recovery file to be able to get to it int he event of a crash of any sort. Is there anyone who has figured this out? |
