Can I load Visio 2010 to Office 2013 environment
My question: Can I load Visio 2010 into an Office 2013 environment?
My company is currently using Office 2013 on newer company-issued laptops and desktops. I previously used Visio 2010. I have tried Visio 2013 and do not like it (I'm not a sophisticated Visio user... each new generation seems to make it harder to use and the 2013 Connector technology make my thousands of Visio docs very hard to update) so I would like to use Visio 2010. My first attempt to load Visio 2010 (which is still available from the company store) failed and the company techs immediate response is to quite trying to load Visio 2010 and just go with 2013. We're using a 32-bit version of Office. Many thanks for your responses. |

Yes, the versions of MS Office and MS Visio are completely independent of each other.
It is more relevant to ask if Visio 2010 is compatible with your version of Windows. And I'm pretty sure the answer is also yes although it might be worth checking if you are using Windows 10 in 32bit or 64bit version.
