Default Calendar in Visio

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can suggest a way to get a calendar into Visio. I am only interested in the years and the quarters i.e. Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 rather than exact dates. I have been tasked with creating some flows which need to correspond to certain years and quarters and I don't know where to start. I have looked at a timeline, but I do not appear to be able to get Q1 etc. to show rather than a date. TIA

I am expected to create about 40 flows and it would be a help if I could create this as quickly as possible. I also need to create a footer on each page, which I can do, however I need to put a number of text boxes on the page which I would like to link together.

You have a few options. Go to File > New > Categories > Schedule

You should be able to choose either the Calendar, Gantt Chart or Timeline templates. Each will open a relevant set of stencils with shapes you can choose from.

Andrew,

Thanks for your post. I have had a looked at the options suggested and at this moment in time none of the options appear to work for me, however, I have created a chart in Excel and copied it into Visio.

Thanks for your help. I am sure the information provided by you will come in useful over the coming days.
