I am brand new to Visio. I need lots of help. but for now, I have shapes (hopefully the right name - previously "blocks" in AutoCAD) that I need to scale.
I have some that are capsule shaped. I want to make the capsule longer without distorting the arc on the end. I just want the lines to gt longer. I have read and tested, reread and retested. I cannot figure it out. I don't hold out too much hope since I did not see any posts for anything later than Visio 2010. But, I do hold some hope that I can find at least a quasi expert that can help me. ![]() D |

Are the shapes from AutoCAD or are they Visio shapes? If they are shapes from AutoCAD imported into Visio, I don't think "stretching" the capsule will work without causing the distortion.
It has been awhile since I last worked with either AutoCad or Visio but, when I did, it seemed always to be a trial and error exercise importing one image from one software and working with it in other. |

They were actually from each. I have tried it with AutoCAD symbols and with shapes that came directly from a Visio drawing. I get the same results - Distortion.

I was excited to see a "resolved" post for my problem, but there is no resolution in this post!
