Zoom buttons like old visio?
I'm using Visio 2010 and I have to say I'm infuriated at the total cluster crap interface. They've removed almost every one of the most common functions I use from the top tool bar and buried them into menus and sub-menus and sub-menus of sub-menus.. Who designs this garbage? The old Visio worked almost perfectly.. 2010 is junk. I am constantly using the zoom in and zoom out buttons.. Can someone show me how to get the + and - zoom controls onto a toolbar that is always visible? My old zoom buttons used to be on the top bar at the far right of the screen.. that would be preferable if possible. Also, is there a way to get the rotate buttons into the right click menu ?? Or even put on the top bar would be fine. Stupid Visio2010 forces THOUSANDS of extra clicks trying to navigate these darn menu's and its doubling and even tripling the time it takes to do a job. |

Have you tried to add those items to the Quick Access Toolbar? Here is a link to a YouTube video on the subject (it may also lead you to other helpful videos):

I figured out a work around..
I just went into the menu and created a custom menu group.. then just added all my buttons to it. Works good enough. thanks! |
