Sorry about the bother. I do not honestly remember what I did, but the backslashes are now visible so Inwas able to add the \n “3-3”.
I was feeling nostalgic so I was using the underwood font in the TOC. I changed it to Times New Roman then went back again to Underwood. When I toggled the code, the backslashes are there..
