Default Publisher to Acrobat losing text

I designed a flyer in Publisher. It prints fine and it saves to a jpg fine. I'd like to save or convert directly to a PDF for online use, but I'm getting an unusual problem. The resulting PDF is missing blocks of text.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. The problem occurs whether I convert to PDF from the tool bar or print as PDF from the print menu. Anyone know what could be causing this?

My problem may have something to do with the fonts: Kozuka Gothic Pro (L,R, & H). I just experimented with changing the fonts to Arial, and the Publisher file converted to a PDF without losing text. The odd part is that the fonts will convert fine for the majority of the document. It's only certain paragraphs that keep getting deleted.
