Visual Foxpro missing
I am using Publisher 2003. My SO had a run-in with a scammer recently and we had to have the computer cleaned of a few issues. When I got the computer back, it seems like their efforts removed Visual Foxpro and none of my Publisher files will open directly. After spending 1 1/2 hours with the Geek Squad, the files will open but with a lag time of 1-2 minutes. The workaround they came up with is to go to the start menu. right click on Publisher and then click on run as administrator. Files open up right away when doing that.
Does this sound reasonable? We tried re-installing Foxpro but the installation would not take. Said it was installed, but it wasn't.... any thoughts would be appreciated... |
