Publisher 2003 Help making even spaced dots (Thread has 2 images for examples)
The basic idea of this problem is making a list with dotted lines that then end with say a Page number. But having these numbers and dotted lines nice and even. I am working with a book that has already been done, I am just updating it and adding a few pages of my own design to cut down on other things. ANYWHO I have no idea how the person did this before me. All I know how to do is type one name, hold the period button down for dots and then type the page number at the end. But it does not come out even for me. I want to know how to do this. The Right way you can even ad text and it will just go over the dotted line without pushing the page number back. SO here are examples of the book. The one set that is the right way to do it, and the other set the way I was doing it.

Those dots are created by setting a tab stop with a leader character.
Here is info on how to set various tab stops in Publisher 2003 http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/pu...005115071.aspx |
