Preparing business card for printer
My commercial printer only accepts pdf files. Document is worked up with the page set to 2" x 3.5" chosen from the blank page listing, not a business card template. When I export it as a pdf it makes an 8"x 11" page with duplicates of the graphic. What am I doing wrong? |

When you have created your business card with your preferred dimensions and content, if you only want 1 (one) card instead of multiple cards, go to Page Setup in the Page Design tab and in the Layout type, opt for One page per sheet.
Check the print preview and when you are happy with what you see, Save As/Export to PDF. |

Thank you again Moonshine. All of the above I had done. Printer got back to me with an article. What is required: Change the print settings when saving as a pdf. This changes the "paper" size, not just the "page" which was the crux of my problem. https://click2mail.com/knowledgebase...er-file-as-pdf
Happy camper now! |
