Default Mail merge using pictures

Hi

Just a quick question from a Publisher noob, which I expect to be a definite 'No'!

I know I can merge images from a directory in Publisher. Is it possible to do this by merging in a url to a web-based image at all?

Cheers!

No responses, and I've not found any way to do this, so conclusion is this just isn't possible.
