Default Joining documents without losing formatting

I wish to combine several MS Publisher 2013 documents into one document. I could just cut and paste the pages, except that when I past text boxes from one Publisher document to another the formatting of the text doesn't hold. I downloaded MS Publisher Join and tried that, but it does the same thing. Is there a way I can join or copy pages from one MS Pub document into another without losing the formatting in my text boxes?
