Default Issues Inserting Images into Publisher 2013

I am trying to insert an image into Publisher and the image appears to lose colour on one half. This happens regardless of whether I insert or Paste it into the document. This also happens when I try the same thing on a different machine with the same OS and same Office version.

I think the problem lies with the image but I don't know where to start.

Can anyone help with this. See Attached for Before and After Images.

Sorry if there is already a thread on this.
