Default Why Won't Publisher Display my Web Page?

Ha, ha, subverted the login Nazis by registering as a different user. Just kidding. I love this site though and that 5 login attempts gets me everytime since I forget my password. Anyhow, I have tried to create web pages in Publisher '07 on several different occasions - and on several different machines - and I can't figure out why it won't display my page as created when I click the little view web page icon on the tool bar. All I get is a blank page. I mean, if I choose a preformatted page, that shows up, but if I attempt to modify it by adding my own nav buttons, or headers or whatever, they don't show up - or if I choose a blank page to create my own I get the same result. I never have problems using Publisher '97 which I use on an old machine. What gives?
