Default PWA, sharepoint links, and spreadsheets

Hi, I'm using MS project server with PWA. I also have a sharepoint site set up for project related files. On the left side there is a standard link for risks and issues. It apparently is an internal risks and issues log. However, I have a rather extensive risks and issues log set up in Excel in one of the folders on the sharepoint site.

I know it is possible to import a spreadsheet into that format but you have to define how the columns match up. Is it possible to have that link go to the Excel spreadsheet instead? It'll be a real pain re-importing the risks and issues every week for a series of projects.

Thanks,
Bob
