Is there a way to include a coloured vertical line in Project 2010.


For example I would like to place a red vertical line that goes from top to bottom at 5.00pm for meeting and updates. (I have used the drawing option in the format tab is there a more formal way to insert one)

I dont understand why you want to insert a vertical line on a Gantt Chart at 5pm for meetings and updates. Surely a recurring task would give you what you want! You can set a recuring task to start at 5pm on every working day for as long as you need it.

It is a 5 day shutdown with 300 jobs I want to have some kind of line for reference of where jobs are up to at that current time.

Project will tell you this as long as the plan has been updated regularly and the status date is changed to the date you want to report up to and including.
