Hi
If I understand you correctly, a Bar rollup is all sub tasks rolled up into the Summary Task, this will then give you the earliest start and latest finish for all sub tasks contained in the Summary Task.
Milestone Tasks are simply indicators in a plan that advise when a certain point or task(s) are completed with a plan, there is not really such a process as Milestone Bar rollup.
Hope this helps.

Hi
In my opinion there is no suich thing as a "Milestone Roll-up". An individual Milestone indicates you have reached a pre-determined point in the project.

A Summary bar roll-up is where you collapse all sub-tasks to the summary bar so the plan just shows Summary bars with the earliest start and latest finish for all the tasks sitting underneath that Summary task. This is normally used to provide Management with a summary progress view of the project without them having to go through the whole plan.

Hope this helps.
