Master Projects with different Working Days
Hi Guys,
I was wondering whether MS Project 2010 has the ability to include multiple sub projects within a master project all with separate scheduled working weeks/times. I have set some of the projects up as individual projects (7d working week & 24 hr day ops) and they are fine, however once I import them they are being transferred into the default standard working week of 8 hrs/d & 5 days/week. Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers Phil |

Hi Phil
You would need to setup a different calendar in your Master Project File for each sub project and then assign the relevant calendar to each sub project. Hope that helps. Good luck. Tony(OTPM) |

If you INSERT instead of IMPORT the subprojects, they will only be links to the real project plans, and will retain their original calendars.
