Bsed on ActiveSelection.Tasks, I've identified a task, what is the quickest way to programmatcally find its summary level of this task and get its attributes?
Thanks for your advice in advance. |

The only way I can think of doing it is to capture the outlinnumber of the selected task, find the last decimal, truncate from that point on. That will be the outlinenumber of the summary. You can then loop through all the tasks and find the one with that outlinenumber.

Hi,
Someone else suggested this: Activeselection.tasks(1).outlineparent for the summary task, and Activeselection.tasks(1).outlinelevel for the summary level. Works like a charm. Hope that helps. |
