I am looking to create a Gantt Chart. I know it can be done in Project but have heard that there are limitations and that Excel might be the better route.

Not having created a Gantt chart before, I would like to know if anyone has done this. If so, what are the pros and cons for Project vs. Excel.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
