Default Need to Create a Resource Driven Schedule

Basically, I have a list of 35 tasks that I need to schedule to be completed as soon as they can be done. The constraining force is resources, I have 5 people working unde rme whom I have divided the tasks amongst.

Problem is, MS Project is scheduling these taskes to all start on the start day, and last their designated duration, in other words, it has my resources majically working all of their assigned tsks simultaneously, instead of seeing a person/resource as "tied up" until they complete one task, then schedule the next task.

I have assigned priorities to all tasks, so what I really want is for project to use the priorityies and resouce constranits to map out a schedule. The task don't really depend on one onther being completed so there aren't really "prececessors" I can use to build out the schedule, it's just balancing the resources to complete the necessary work. What have I done wrong? Thanks!

Hi Gamer,
You need to upload a sample of your worksheet, so we can see how data is organised in your sheet; what happens if you have 2 tasks with the same priority assigned for the same person?

Hi Gamer83
Have you tried Resource Levelling your project? If not take a copy of the plan and run the Resource Levellling tool and see what thay gives you.
