Default Equally allocate/assign across resouces

Hi All,

Very new to MS Project but on a deadline to get a project plan completed. So hopefully you can give me some direction.

I'm setting up a project plan and would like to assign two people to the entire project and I would like the work to be split equally between the two of them.

In searching I'm confused between resource allocation and resource assignments but they seem to be closely related.

Please let me know the correct settings to allocate project tasks equally between 2 resources (people).

Thanks,
Christine

Hi Christine
Allocate each resource as 50% on each task.
