WHat do I need!!!
My office has one copy of office projects pro 2007, we now have 4 project engineers and one project coordinator. We want to be able to have a master project schedule that includes all resources i.e. (workers, trucks, and equipment) we want the project coordinator to have that. We however do want the project engineers to create there perspective projects in seperate files so they can manage them but have them all link back to master project! Is this possible and what would i need, would i need a project server I know I will need a copy of project for each user but do they all need pro or can they use project standard, also do they all need to be the same version of can we use our current 2007 if we get 2010 projects??

Hi
It sounds like all you need to do is all each worker to create their own project plan. Then you need to create a Master project and insert each one of the workers projects as sub projects. Any changes made to any of the sub projects will then be updated automatically. Search Project Help for instruction on creating and inserting sub projects into a Master Project Plan. Hope this helps. Good luck. Tony |
