Work not changing duration
Hi all.
I’m sure this is a really basic question but ive been searching and trying to figure it out for the last hour with no luck. I’m very new to MS Project so please explain any solutions as simply as possible! Sorry for my ignorance. Working in office 2007. I have a project that will be running 24 hours a day for roughly a week. I am trying to sequence all the tasks involved in the project in order to estimate how long the whole thing will take. I have set my calendar to 24 hours, and set up everything else as advised on a tutorial website. I inserted a new work column and everything was working fine, i was creating new tasks and entering the estimated work time in minutes and the duration was updating accordingly. But today i have managed to stuff something up and now every new task i enter the duration comes up as 8 hours when i enter a value in the work column, no matter what is entered into the work column be it greater or less than 8 hours the duration does not change. This is obviously a problem when most tasks are under an hour long. What have I clicked or changed to stuff this up? I cant figure it out. Any help will be awesome. Brendan |
