How to have have the money status spent at a specific date

HI,

I'm discovering Project and learning to use it.
I manage to define costs, and now, I would like tohave some "status" at some specific date(s) which will provide me how much money is already spent. I do not find how to get this info . is it possible ?

I'm using Office 365for ref.
