Custome Filter For Resource Group

I want to create a custom filter for the Resource Group that has a drop drop down that shows the available list of resource groups.

The only way to accomplish this goal is to insert the Resource Group field in any task view, such as the Gantt Chart view, and then to AutoFilter on that field. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

Thanks for that. I've added the Group column in the "Resource Sheet" and grouped the resource. This transfers through to the Gant Chart when the "group column" is added. The next step is to add a custom filter with text in the value's field that call up the drop down when the filter is run. With the "show related summary tasks" tick box selected, the result is all of the task for that group. I had the filter sorted many years ago but I can't remember what the text in the Values group has to be.
