Default Sub projects and Resource Sheets

Hi all
I have been using MS Project for a few years but never really bothered with embedding sub projects and could do with a little guidance from the expert

Within a single folder I have 6 individual Project plans (i.e. 6 MPP files); I have an additional MPP file "Master Programme" which contains a single resource sheet that has been made accessible to the 6 plans - and that works okay. I have also added the 6 plans as sub projects on the Master Programme file. Therefore I have individual project plans and a dynamically-linked programme view.

What I'd like to do on the resource sheet is to put in a weekly or monthly capacity for each named resource (i.e. Tom can do 4 d/w, Fred 5 d/w etc) and also to add each resource into Team A or Team B - but have never done very much with the resource sheet.

Would appreciate if someone could give me pointers for adding resource capacity, adding users to a team so i can then report on individuals' and teams' capacity and demend.

huge thanks in advance!
