Adding percentage allocation to the gantt chart in project
Hi, I have a project plan where some tasks do not require 100% effort over their duration. I want to display the full duration of the task on the Gantt with the % effort requred over the duration.
i.e. a task with a 10d duration, but a work (i.e. effort) of 16hrs i.e. 2d, 20% of the duration. For some of the tasks it is putting the percentage allocation i.e. 20% next to the resource name in the Gantt chart, but for other entries it isn't. All tasks are set to Fixed Duration. Any ideas how I get the percentages to appear by all rows automatically? The only half-solution I have found is to; Set the work on a task to less than the duration, select "Decrease Duration............" from the Exclamation mark pop-up The duration then decreases, so i set the duration back to what it was and select "Decrease Hours.........." This gets a percentage allocation onto the Gantt, but it doesn't adjust the percentage if I change the settings again, and I have hundreds of rows in the plan. Any help appreciated. |
