Question Can leveling break an 8hr task across 2 days?

Hello,

I am working on a project where some of the tasks are scheduled such that the resources are scheduled for say 8hrs of work but at 25% utilization. This results in a duration of 4 days with 2hrs of work per day. If I have 2 of these tasks, project will automatically stack them.

My problem is that project will not take a task where work is 8hrs and utilization is 100%, and split it across multiple days.

In the attached example, task 3 could be split across monday and tuesday. Task 4 could be split across wednesday and thursday. This would make the total project duration 4 days instead of 6.

Is this possible to do in MS Project? I appreciate any help!
