Default Custom Date Format - MM/YYYY

First time post, long time MSP user.

I would like to display the dates using a MM/YYYY format. I have tried using the formula:

ProjDateConv([Finish],pjDate_mm_yyyy)

For some reason, I Project is not recognizing the date format. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated, please!
