milestone report
I don't use MS project 2016 much so please forgive me if this is a stupid / easy question to answer.
The standard reports don't give me what I'm looking for. I've tried creating my own report using filters and custom filters. Please have a look at the screenshot, showing an example Gantt to the left and my desired report to the right. It must be possible - but how? Thanks for your help. |

Add 3 custom fields to your View, say Number 1, Number2 & Text1.
Rename Number1 to Milestone Total and enter the formula IIf([Milestone],1,0) and for summary rows calculations, tick Rollup and select Sum from the dropdown. Rename Number2 to Completed Milestone and enter the formula IIf([Milestone] And [% Complete]=100,1,0) and for summary rows calculations, tick Rollup and select Sum from the dropdown. Rename Text1 to Milestone % and enter the formula IIf( [Summary] AND [Milestone Total] > 0, Format( [Completed Milestone] / [Milestone Total], "Percent" ) , 0 ) and for summary rows calculations, tick Use Formula. The Milestone % column will only calculate progress for tasks that are milestones as shown below. =jerome www.plannersplace.com |
