Default Half hour added between tasks

Hi guys,

I'm new to Project, but experienced with Primavera (not sure if that's a four letter word around here...). I am trying to create a short project of tasks each taking a whole number of hours taking place one after another. I have set up a calendar to have a solid 8 hours working between 0800 and 1600. Despite this I have tasks starting and ending at half hour points; 1330, 1530 etc. And bafflingly 1630(?!) which surely should not appear with a calendar that only goes between 0800 and 1600.

Is there some little tick box somewhere that is effecting this change across my project?

Cheers,
Maru

Did you enter your tasks, enter their durations and then link all tasks together as 'Finish to Start'?

Might look in the Task Information dialog box to see if you have Lag time filled in.
