Custom View on Ribbon
I am using MS Project 2016 and have created a custom view. Instead of showing the custom view button on the sidebar I would like to have a button on the ribbon for that view.
I have created the custom tab and custom group on the ribbon but do not know how to put a button in for just that 1 view without using VBA. I have seen it done once before and actually did it so I know it is possible but I can't remember how it was done and I cannot find it again on google. |

Sorry if I get this wrong, but as a recap, you have made a custom view, and want to have a single button to show it?
If this is the case, go to file/ gant chart and view the pull down of available views, right click on the one you want and choose "ad gallery to quick access toolbar". Then enable the tooolbar (right click on the ribbon bar, and choose "show quick access bar" and your view will be in the new toolbar. hope that answers the question |

Thank you for the reply Guloluseus. You are close but I am looking to have the button on the ribbon not on the quick access toolbar.
