Question Automatic Units Scaling

Hello All,

I am relatively new to MS Project, looking for a solution to the following problem.
Suppose I have two tasks and one resource.
  • Task A takes 8 hours to complete
  • Task B takes 16 hours to complete
  • Resource R works 8 hours per day

Initially I would like to have R work on A & B simultaneously; 50% on task A and 50% on task B.
After two days task A will have been completed, and task B will have 50% remaining.
Does MS Project provide the capability such that R will automatically start to dedicate 100% of his "units" to task B, once task A has been completed?

Many thanks for any hint or tips in advance!
