Creating a task similar to Working Time exceptions
Folks I have a project that for a period of 2 weeks there are a range of activities that I cannot undertake but there are some that my team can be getting on with.
Ordinarily I'd add a Work Exception to prevent any tasks being scheduled but this is not practical in this instance. So I have simply scheduled a single task to block out 2 weeks and then attached some tasks to this manually. This works in general but when the schedule starts to move I then have to go back through the entire task list and tweak which tasks are now related to this blocked out time and which tasks have had this relation nullified. Has anyone any ideas? |

Create a task calendar that sets non-working time for the two weeks. Assign it to the tasks that cannot be worked on. If the two week window changes, change the task calendar.
