MS Project 2000 Emailing Alert or Reminder
Hi,
I wonder if someone could help with some VBA. I have set up a project using MS Project 2000. What I would like to do is send an email (using Outlook 2010) to myself when the finish date is within a couple of weeks of the current date. This could potentially be one, two, three or four weeks. When in the gantt view there is the row number, the information column, the Task Name, Duration, Start, Finish, % Complete, Predecessors and the Resource Name. Ideally I would like to be able to send this information in an email to myself or the named person or A N Other. TIA |

I think this is going to be a bit challenging. Do you want the code in VBA? Visual Studio? Have you considered creating some filters (regular or highlight) and working within Project?
If you know some code you may get some general assistance on the Project programming page - but I think it is unrealistic to expect someone to develop code for you from top to bottom. Try: https://social.technet.microsoft.com...ct2010custprog |
