Default Cannot create a hammock task because my project file is stored in Sharepoint

Hi,

does anyone know of a way to create hammock tasks in project when your project file is stored in Sharepoint? When i try to paste a link to an end date I get the message "You cannot create links from a project file that exists on a Web folder to another file."

If I check out locally then I can create the link but it breaks when accessed from another PC or by another person and my schedule is going to be used as a template by multiple people.

Many thanks

w-p
