Viewing "paste link" data

I have a number of tasks in a programme which represent the time specific members of staff are required on site. These have been placed in as hammock tasks. this was supposed to be a final edit, but a number of items have changed, been added or removed and consequently I have no idea what the original links where.

Is it possible to see what task the link was taken from?

If you double click on the linked field (Start date for example) it will select the field where the linked data comes from.

Thanks for the reply, I think I may have mis stated what I did
The linked info is the start and finish date- so for task "X", I copied the start date of task a and pasted into task x start, then copied task b finish date and pasted into task x finish. Not an ideal solution, but it performed the function that was required- or at least, the one I was told was required!

I resorted to using a summary task with start dates for each resource as a direct ss link, and the same for finish, then hammocked these to give durations. That way at least I know where the info came from.

No - I understand that you have created a hammock task using paste link? The method I noted should work if you used paste link.
