Hi Julie,
Thank you very much for your time and reply. I have had a look at the work units in an attempt to reconcile the resources. I have changed the tasks to fixed work and put in the number of hours of work required on the task. For example in the attached revision Task 8 has a duration of 6 hours and has work of 24 hours (reflecting that 4x people (MSMW (PW) are required to work on the job for 6HRs each concurrently to achieve the duration) This approach however has still allowed over allocation of my resources (max 4x people (MSMW(PW))) as can be seen in tasks 7 and 8 occuring concurrently with all 4x MSMW (PW) resources assigned. Have I missed the concept here? Why is the overallocation still occuring? |
